| it was black. I bought her for $3500 with 102k miles. The insurance paid me $4100 when she was totalled 4 years later with 160k. The 200SX's had 8 spark plugs for cleaner emissions. The automatics were buzzy at higher RPMs, so get a manual if you really want a 200SX. I'm not quite sure about the years, but my '85 had a digital dash. As OU812 said, it was pretty gutless. I think the 1.8T was just a tad quicker than her 2.0 non-turbo sister. But all in all, I did mainly routine maintenance. They're not known for major problems, as the 200SX lineup and motors stemmed out from the late 70's. The only problems I knew of was the front brake rotors warping, the rear springs sagging, and the exhaust manifold cracking. I had to replace mine and it wasn't cheap. They are reliable cars (as Nissans were).
